Dwarka Prasad Mishra who is the pioneer of the Dharwad Pedha within the Mishra family settled in the beautiful place Dharwad and started making Pedhas to support his livelihood. His three sons followed his sweet steps by learning and mastering the art of Pedha making . Two generations of the Mishra family have grown the Dharwad Pedha and their sweets business with the same passion and energy of the founder. They have managed to get immense recognition not just within the state of Karnataka but across the country.
